DNS Abuse Policy

The RjpServer Group ensures the resilience, security, and absolute integrity of its DNS infrastructure.
This DNS Abuse Policy establishes the technical protocol for the reception, evaluation, and immediate mitigation of malicious activities associated with domains under our management.

Definition of DNS Abuse

For the purposes of this policy, and in strict conformity with ICANN directives and global security best practices, DNS abuse is defined as any technical activity that uses domain names to instigate, support, or execute security threats.
This includes the following baseline examples, applying equally to any other hostile activity or emerging technique:

Phishing: Fraudulent pages created for stealing credentials or data.

Malware: Distribution or control of malicious software.

Botnets: Networks of infected computers under hostile command and control.

Pharming: Malicious redirection of traffic through DNS manipulation.

Spam: Massive sendings used as a delivery vector for the threats described above.

Requirements for Submission of Complaints

For a complaint to be considered technically actionable, it must contain clear evidence.
Whenever possible, include:

Domain: The domain name involved in the incident.

Description: Clear detail of the hostile activity detected.

Technical Evidence: Server logs, exact URLs, e-mail headers, or screenshots.

Timestamp: Exact date and time of the occurrence.

Note: Generic notifications or those without evidentiary support will not be processed due to the impossibility of technical validation.

Evaluation and Response Protocol

Once the complaint is received, the RjpServer Group adopts the following incident response flow:

Technical Triage: Our team validates the integrity and authenticity of the provided data.

Impact Analysis: The existence of credible and directly actionable evidence is evaluated.

Notification to the Holder: Whenever feasible and safe, the person responsible for the domain is notified to mitigate the vulnerability or cease the activity.

Proportional Mitigation: The infrastructure intervenes directly based on the severity of the incident, prioritizing the stability and defense of the network.

Mitigation Actions

Technical confirmation of DNS abuse results in the immediate execution of countermeasures on our network:

Direct warning to the person responsible for the domain.
Immediate suspension of the affected domain.
Blocking of DNS resolution at the infrastructure scale.
Forwarding of received data to the competent authorities.

Response Levels and SLA

The RjpServer Group operates under a strict protocol of triage and accelerated mitigation:

Swift Analysis: Audit and validation of complaints within the shortest technically feasible period.

Critical SLA: Immediate prioritization of incidents with active impact on network security or data integrity.

Rapid Mitigation: Real-time intervention in the infrastructure as soon as the abuse vector is confirmed.

Limitation of Liability

The RjpServer Group operates strictly in the logical management of DNS infrastructures and registration of private domain names (Private Root TLD).
We do not hold operational control, custody, or moderation over the contents, files, or applications hosted on the servers associated with those domains.
In strict compliance with current legislation, we cooperate directly with judicial authorities, law enforcement forces, and competent regulatory bodies whenever formally required.

Acceptance and Compliance

The registration of any private domain name (Private Root TLD) or the use of our DNS infrastructure implies the full and unreserved acceptance of this policy, as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use.
The user binds themselves to compliance with these norms, accepting to submit to any legitimate dispute resolution procedures initiated by third parties.
It is further established that the user fully indemnifies the RjpServer Group and its collaborators from any liability, charges, damages, or costs arising from such disputes or from the application of the mitigation measures provided for in this policy.

The RjpServer Group expressly reserves the right to demand from the user full indemnifications and compensations for any material damages, mitigation operational costs, financial sanctions, or reputational damages inflicted upon the brand and the integrity of our infrastructure due to abusive activities.
